Lovely

by

These are as lightweight as IWA says! I love the tall stem on these champagne glasses, and they are a happy medium between the traditional narrow flute and newer champagne glasses that are broader in the bowl. I originally bought these to fill out my Italesse set, but I like them on their own as well.

The perfect shape and unparalleled elegance

by -

These are the most beautiful champagne glasses I have seen in my 70 years. They also feel elegant with their thin crystal and long thin stem. I have never paid this kind of money for stemware, but I couldn’t resist. I recently read an article that evaluated champagne glasses for retaining bubbles while also delivering the effervescence to your mouth, and the conclusion was that an almost-flute with a wider bottom and a narrower top was the best shape. And although this top is narrower, it is still wide enough that your nose can fit. Interestingly, the bubbles actually form and rise from the small divot in the center of the glass, which was not a feature described in the review article. So elegant!
