We've been using the aerator for a couple of weeks - we're late adopters! - but it does make a difference, really smoothing out young (or cheap) wine. My wife also likes the sound it makes when wine is poured through the aerator. We visit Sonoma/Napa a lot, and many tasting rooms use the Vinturi aerator, but we selected this one because it feels good, it's the right size, and not too ornate or complicated. Cheers!

This model is the best, most convenient aerator I have experienced. I have used four others and noticed no difference. Decanters are time consuming, bulky, not portable, less than effective, and do not filter cork or sediment. The three others I have bought and the two I have been given are heading to Goodwill.
